Week 2 Brush: Two minutes twice a day

Week 2 of National Oral Health Month is all about one simple habit that can make a big difference: brushing for two minutes, twice a day, with fluoride toothpaste.

The latest New Zealand Health Survey found that only 66.2% of adults and 62.9% of children brush their teeth with standard fluoride toothpaste at least twice a day.¹

This week, NZDA is inviting people across the country to take part in the 2 Mins x 2 a Day Challenge.

How the Challenge Works

Show us how you find time to brush your teeth, no matter what your day looks like.

Whether it’s while you're getting ready for work, watering the garden, packing school lunches, exercising, or tackling your to-do list, we want to see how you fit your two minutes into your routine.

Because no matter how busy life gets, everyone can find 2 minutes, twice a day, no matter what.

Make sure to follow NZDA Healthy Smiles on Facebook and Instagram during NOHM.
